Icons and emoji

Lucide icons for actions, each game’s emoji for the game.

Icons

Icons come from lucide-react only. Inline with text they’re h-4 w-4; alone in a button, h-5 w-5. Decorative icons get aria-hidden; an icon-only button gets an aria-label.

Game emoji

Each game has its own emoji in games-config. It names the game wherever the game appears (CallName, chips, cards).

Do

  • Use 🔨 for the Hammer, ✏️ for pencils, a game’s own emoji for the game.
  • Hide emoji from screen readers when the text says the same.

Don’t

  • Put emoji in page titles, except a game’s own on its page.
  • Use an emoji as the only label.
